Landscape Photography and Photography Books

My name is Massimo Mazza and since 2012 I have developed a strong passion for digital photography, especially landscape photography and mountain environments.

Born in 1973 and graduated in economics, over the years I have developed a personal photographic approach focused on light, outdoor experience and the search for evocative atmospheres.

Mountains are the main subject of my photography, especially the Dolomites and Italian outdoor landscapes. I also enjoy creating outdoor portraits using natural light, focusing on simplicity, expression and the relationship between subject and environment.

I am particularly fascinated by visual perception and by how the human brain interprets images, colors, contrast and photographic composition. This interest has strongly influenced both my photography and the content of my books.

Since 2022 I have also been developing The Dark Side, a personal photography project focused on dark landscapes and introspective atmospheres in the Italian mountains.

Experiences and collaborations

I collaborated with the organization of Miss World Trentino Alto Adige as part of the photography team during regional selections, documenting events and key moments of the competition.

Since 2017 I have mainly used a Canon EOS 7D Mark II.

Photography books

I am the author of the book series Digital Photography, Starting from Zero, created for people who want to learn photography in a simple and practical way.

My books published on Amazon Kindle Store reached the first position in the Digital Photography category among Best Sellers.
